The Parents Paradise Café is 5-star rated by our Environmental Health Officer at Hertsmere Council! We sell a wide selection of hot and cold meals, fresh Italian coffee and much, much more. We take a special interest in children’s nutrition and provide freshly prepared meals.
-
Why can’t I bring in my own food or drink?
The Parents Paradise Café will cater, pretty much, to your every need. So just as you wouldn’t take your own food or drink to a fast-food outlet or a restaurant, you are kindly asked not to bring it into Parents Paradise. For those of you with babies under the age of 1, you are more than welcome to bring your own baby food and bottles. We have bottle warming facilities and a microwave to help you.
-
But my child has allergies…?
Please ask for assistance from our Café staff when ordering your food, we are very aware of the wide variety of allergies and dietary requirements that now exist, and will cater for your child where we can. We also have a selection of “free-from” foods in stock. If your child has very severe allergies please eat before or after visiting Parents Paradise as you are unable to consume your own food or drink on the premises. For further information please see our allergens information.
-
Do you offer Kosher or Halal food?
We offer neither, I’m afraid. If you strictly adhere to a Kosher or Halal diet, please eat before or after visiting Parents Paradise. Please do not bring your own food and drink into the play centre.
-
Can I take photographs of my child?
Cameras can be used at Parents Paradise, however, we ask you to be mindful of other customers and their privacy. Photos may only be taken of your children and their guests.
-
Why do I have to wear socks or tights all the time?
Bare feet are not hygienic and also little feet may experience slide burns from the slides. So, it’s an all round safety and hygiene policy to protect all of our customers.
-
Can my little one play on the big play frame?
You should supervise your children at all times, but if you have an adventurous 3 year old who wants to play on the over-5s play frame, that’s fine, as long as you accompany them.
-
What facilities do you have for babies?
We have a separate padded baby play area, where you can sit and chat with other parents whilst playing with your own baby. This includes a selection of toys and sensory area.
