We pride ourselves on serving hot, fresh AND good quality food. Whilst we know you are bringing your children to Parents Paradise play centre for fun and treats, we believe it’s important to offer well-balanced healthy food for children and parents alike…you will find EVERYTHING from the OBLIGATORY chicken nuggets (100% BREAST) and chips, right through to salads,SNACK POTS, jacket potatoes and pasta options.
Things to know:
Breakfast is served between 9.30am – 11am. Kitchen will close 30 minutes before the end of your booked session. We offer various panini’s which are very popular as well as our freshly cooked jacket potatoes served with several optional fillings. We have freshly made stone baked pizza and pasta dishes.

DIETARY REQUIREMENT
If you or your child has a dairy, nut, gluten or egg allergy, please discuss our “free-from” range with our Café staff. We also have a full breakdown of allergens available for every product we sell. If you need any advice please ask Café staff.
We understand the challenges facing people who struggle with food allergies or have to manage food sensitivities in their lives. We know how difficult it is to eat safely, especially when eating out. We have made every effort to have clear food labelling and a full menu allergen list however it is impossible to fully guarantee separation of these items in storage or preparation of cooking although every effort is made to minimise the risk. Our allergen information has been compiled to the best of our knowledge however no allergen or nutritional information provided should ever be considered a guarantee, but simply a best faith effort to serve our customers’. Should you have a severe food allergy and you choose to eat here this would be at your own risk for which we cannot accept liability.
When Parents Paradise was opened in 2007, owners, Wendy Attwood and Lyn Presence, took the decision to invest heavily in a well equipped, well thought out kitchen arrangement, managed by our Kitchen Team. As a result, your meal will be freshly cooked and brought to your table for you. Our team of cooks are highly trained and educated in Food Safety and Hygiene.
HOT DRINKS
The Paradise Café serves amazing freshly-made Italian coffee and luxury hot chocolates. Our Café Assistants are also there to help you with any dietary requirements you may have.
BABY FACILITIES
The Paradise Café also sells baby food, baby milk, bibs, sterilised bottles, dummies and nappies for your convenience. High chairs are available, plus a microwave and baby bottle warmers. Baby changing facilities are provided as well as vending machines for the essentials should you run out. Also all our toilets have children’s toilets seats and steps should you require them. As Parents Paradise offers you a wide selection of meals and snacks (with a range of special dietary options available upon request), you are therefore kindly asked not to consume your own food and drink on the premises for any reason, including dietary or religious. Environmental Health
Our Kitchen Team have their work cut out with the Environmental Health Officers at Hertsmere Borough Council….they’re a tough bunch to impress! Parents Paradise has to meet stringent health, safety and hygiene regulations and we are inspected regularly.
Hertsmere Borough Council use a system called Food Hygiene Ratings to rate the quality and cleanliness of an eatery.
We are very proud that we have consistently achieved the highest award of 5 stars. This reflects the hard work, discipline and education of our kitchen team.
